This October, we’re proud to highlight Kyle Webster, a standout Project Analyst who plays a vital role in supporting our growing portfolio of federal contracting projects—many of which directly serve Veterans.
From managing financial workflows to contributing to pricing strategies and launching new contracts, Kyle operates with focus and precision. His motto, “Learn fast,” captures the mindset he brings to every challenge—and it’s one of the many reasons he has become a valued part of the STEERBRIDGE team.
Kyle’s journey to STEERBRIDGE began on the lacrosse field. As a Division I athlete and team captain at the Virginia Military Institute, he honed his skills in leadership, discipline, and teamwork. Combined with his academic background in economics and business, Kyle was well-prepared for a mission-driven environment like STEERBRIDGE.
“I was drawn to the company because of its focus on serving Veterans,” Kyle shared. “The work has real meaning, and I wanted to be part of something that made a difference.”
In his role as Project Analyst, Kyle supports initiatives across Construction & Facilities Management (CFM), F-35 sustainment, and corporate growth. His responsibilities include contract pricing, proposal development, timekeeping, invoicing, financial tracking, and managing modifications across more than 20 projects.
Whether he’s working on the GSA MAS schedule, collaborating with JV partners, or building financial trackers, Kyle helps ensure operations run efficiently and effectively.
He’s particularly proud of his work in the CFM vertical. “I’ve been involved in the full lifecycle of our CFM contracts—from pricing to invoicing and performance tracking,” he said. “It’s rewarding to know that my work supports infrastructure that Veterans rely on.”
Kyle contributes to a wide range of Veteran-focused projects, including those with the Department of Veterans Affairs, the F-35 Fleet Data Teams, and the Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) contract.
He also manages financial reporting for the CEO and CFO, updates corporate trackers, supports salary research for proposals, and plays an active role in opportunity research, pricing strategy, and subcontractor coordination.
“If it touches finance, operations, or growth strategy, there’s a good chance I’m involved,” he said. “I focus on building efficient systems, automating where I can, and delivering quality outcomes.”
Kyle credits much of his professional development to strong mentorship, especially from his manager, Adam Fisher.
“Adam has helped me build confidence, understand federal contracting at a strategic level, and deliver work that drives progress.”
He also highlights the strength of STEERBRIDGE’s culture. “Our proposal team always steps up. Even with tight deadlines and complex tasks, we collaborate and get the job done.”
For Kyle, the most fulfilling part of his role is knowing the impact his work has on Veterans.
“I’ve supported nearly every contract tied to Veteran services. From healthcare infrastructure to data-driven mission readiness, I know what we do matters.”
That mission alignment motivates Kyle to keep expanding his skill set and taking on more responsibility as he grows with STEERBRIDGE.
Kyle aims to deepen his understanding of government contracting and continue adding value to clients, stakeholders, and Veterans.
“I’m focused on gaining a more strategic view of our pricing and contracts. There’s always more to learn.”
And in keeping with his personal motto, he’s committed to learning fast—just as he has since day one at STEERBRIDGE.
