Leading the Future of Innovation

After retiring from the Marine Corps, I chose to join SteerBridge because of its mission-driven focus and commitment to delivering impactful solutions to the federal government closely align with my continued desire to serve. 

Relationships matter. My relationship with Bill Gray is what brought me to SteerBridge; the culture is what has kept me with the company. The company culture was extremely beneficial to my transition from active service in the Marine Corps to supporting Marines and the Corps as a Veteran.  

SteerBridge brings together everything I valued in the Marine Corps—mission, people, and purpose. Getting to support the Marine Corps again while working alongside a team that puts people first is incredibly rewarding. 

I chose to work at SteerBridge because my previous experiences (In the military and civilian sector) are uniquely aligned with the role, giving me the ability to deliver exceptional value. SteerBridge has enriched my career by offering opportunities to challenge myself, fostering skill development, and exemplifying the incredible work achievable in a company that genuinely cares about its employees and customers.  

Why did I choose to join SteerBridge? That’s easy…as a service disabled Veteran myself, I have the opportunity to work for a service disabled Veteran owned business and partner with leaders at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to deliver outcomes focused on improving the lives of Veterans and their families through the delivery of timely and high quality benefits and services, easier access to healthcare, and dignified memorial services. 

As a Veteran, I was drawn to SteerBridge because of their unwavering commitment to serving those who serve. It’s a place where my military experience isn’t just valued, it’s actively leveraged to support mission-critical technology solutions for the warfighter. Being part of a team that understands both the culture and the cause makes the work deeply meaningful.  

I came to SteerBridge a year ago to work with a true team on important projects tailored to the needs of our customers. As a veteran I was drawn to the camaraderie which exists between everyone, whether you have a military background or not. I am enthused about bringing my skills and experience to the team to support our goal of combining technical and subject matter expertise to tackle challenges in DoD, VA, US Government and beyond. 

I chose to work at SteerBridge because it fosters a culture of innovation and collaboration, where every challenge is an opportunity to grow. The support, encouragement, and shared vision here make every day feel purposeful, and I’m excited to contribute to something bigger while continuously evolving in my career.  

After 23 years in the Marine Corps leading recruiting and operations across the country, I was drawn to SteerBridge because of its mission-first mindset and commitment to supporting Veterans. Here, I get to use my leadership and recruiting experience to continue serving a purpose greater than myself. 

After retiring from the U.S. Marine Corps, I knew I still wanted to serve—I just needed to find a new way to do it. At SteerBridge, I get to do exactly that. As the Creative Lead, I help shape the messaging and solutions that support our active-duty personnel and Veterans behind the scenes. Being surrounded by fellow retired Marines made the transition smoother—it felt like stepping into a new unit with the same sense of purpose. For me, continuing to serve—even from the sidelines—is what makes this next chapter so meaningful. 

What I love about working at SteerBridge is that many of my colleagues understand what it means to spend months forward deployed — and the personal and familial sacrifice that comes with that. Now that I’ve retired from the Marine Corps, my days of travel and adventure are behind me, but SteerBridge gives me the opportunity to continue serving. I’m now able to support my MOS community by helping solve problems that persisted throughout my entire 20-year career.
