Leading the Next Generation at SteerBridge
At SteerBridge, we take pride in recognizing the dedication, leadership, and aggressive attitudes of our team. This March, we’re excited to spotlight Adam Fisher, a Program Manager whose impact has been instrumental in shaping the future of SteerBridge. Based at our Tysons, VA office, Adam is not only driving success in program management but also playing a pivotal role in mentoring and developing the next generation of professionals at SteerBridge..
Rising Through the Ranks: A Passion for Leadership
Adam Fisher’s journey is a testament to determination, continuous growth, and a passion for leadership. A Loyola University Maryland graduate with a Political Science and Government degree, Adam’s career began with an internship in the Maryland State Senate, where he gained firsthand experience in policy and government. He later transitioned to a summer internship—and eventually a full-time role—as a Program Analyst at a partner company, Espire.
Adam’s drive and talent quickly set him apart. After earning his PMP certification, he popped up on SteerBridge’s radar. We saw his leadership potential and invited him to step into the role of Program Manager at SteerBridge.
Since joining SteerBridge, Adam has proven himself to be a leader among his peers, mentoring colleagues while delivering exceptional program results. He also leads the “Junior Mafia”, a group of young professionals in our Tysons office who represent the next generation of SteerBridge’s leadership.
Developing Leadership Skills: ELP Training
Adam’s leadership potential has not gone unnoticed. He was recently selected to participate in SteerBridge’s Emerging Leadership Program (ELP)—a prestigious initiative designed to cultivate top talent and prepare future leaders.
As part of this program, Adam will complete the course “7 Habits for Managers: Essential Skills and Tools for Leading Teams,” which focuses on developing strategic thinking, team management, and leadership effectiveness. This training will further equip Adam with the skills to lead large teams, provide strategic guidance, and inspire those around him.
Adam’s mindset reflects his commitment to continuous growth:
📢 “My goal is to improve my leadership skills, and the ELP program will provide me with the tools and understanding to do just that every day.”
Looking to the Future: Ambitions Beyond SteerBridge
At just 26 years old, Adam Fisher has already built an impressive career—and he’s only getting started. His long-term aspiration is to launch his own government contracting firm, leveraging the experience, leadership skills, and relationships he has developed at SteerBridge.
Throughout his time at SteerBridge, Adam has sharpened his ability to manage time and tasks effectively, a skill critical to thriving in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
📢 “Being at SteerBridge has helped me learn how to manage my time and tasks much better than before. In a fast-paced environment, time management and prioritization are key skills to be able to produce results within time constraints.”
With a strong foundation in program management, leadership, and strategy, Adam is positioning himself for even greater success in the years ahead—both at SteerBridge and beyond.
