Building the Foundation for Modern Veteran Care
SteerBridge is proud to share that we’ve been named a finalist for the 2026 Moxie Award, which recognizes bold and innovative organizations across the Washington, DC region.
For us, this recognition is about more than company growth. It’s about how our team shows up for the mission.
SteerBridge was founded in 2018 by Marine Corps Veteran Robert Schroder with a clear purpose: challenge the way government gets things done and help build systems that work better for the people they serve.
Today, our team brings together Veterans, technologists, operators, and mission-focused leaders to take on complex problems across the federal space. These are environments where the stakes are high, the systems are complicated, and outcomes matter.
“Being named a Moxie Award finalist is a meaningful recognition of the people who make SteerBridge what it is,” said Rob Schroder, Founder and CEO of SteerBridge.
“Our team shows boldness every day by taking on hard problems, challenging outdated systems, and delivering solutions that better serve Veterans, warfighters, the federal mission and commercial markets.”
You can see that mindset across our work.
At the Department of Veterans Affairs, SteerBridge has supported modernization efforts that directly affect Veterans and their families. From work connected to the Digital GI Bill to technology-enabled approaches that help organize complex medical evidence and reduce administrative friction, our focus stays the same: technology should make the process better for Veterans, not harder.
We bring that same approach to national defense. SteerBridge supports Marine Corps aviation and mission readiness through data-driven solutions that help improve aircraft readiness, logistics performance, and operational decision-making. Our teams work close to the mission, alongside the people who rely on timely, trusted information to make decisions in real-world conditions.
Across all of this work, SteerBridge continues to invest in artificial intelligence, data engineering, secure platforms, and practical delivery models. But the real difference is our people.
We keep teams agile. We give people ownership. We move quickly, but with accountability. And we bring lived experience to the work, including Veterans who have personally dealt with the systems we’re helping improve.
The Moxie Award, now celebrating its 10th year, honors organizations that demonstrate “Boldness in Business” throughout the Washington, DC area. Winners will be announced at the Moxie Award Ceremony & Dinner on October 29, 2026, at The Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner, Virginia.
We’re honored to be named among this year’s finalists and grateful to our employees, partners, and clients who continue to trust us with meaningful work.
At SteerBridge, we believe the systems that serve Veterans and warfighters should be as strong, responsive, and accountable as the people they support.
That’s the work we’re here to do.
